FurReal Go Go Walking Pup

The latest toy from the FurReal Friends set is Fur Real GoGo My Walking Pup. This latest addition to the set of cute animals is even more lifelike than the previous years animals.

Like a real dog he will bark and wag his tail at certain commands. At first I thought having a barking toy dog would get annoying but fortunately he doesn't do it that often, and anyway you can turn him off if it gets too much (unlike a real dog whose barking can make you bonkers).

As the name suggests you can really take him for a walk. You attach the 'lead' to his collar which acts a bit like a remote control and he will follow along. He walks quite slowly but it's a good pace for the kids who just want to walk him around the back garden.

My kids were always on at me to get a real dog, but I knew that I'd be the one looking after it everyday so I persuaded them to get one of the furreal ones instead. Thankfully I don't have to clean up after this one! LOL.

Of course having this 'toy' dog has made them want a real dog even more so perhaps that decision has backfired on me a bit. :)

It's pretty well constructed and should take a lot of rough play if your youngster is anything like mine and seems to destroy anything new within a few hours of having it. So far GoGo is still in one piece after a few weeks which is the sign of a well made toy.

So far he still plays with it most days and it has been worth the cost. It's actually a lot cheaper than some of the othe FurReal toys which is a bonus.

Overall it's not a bad little 'toy' and the kids should like it. It is limited in what it can do, but it has enough features for kids to pretend play that it's a real pet.
